Devotional: *GOD'S RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT ON ALL* _(Romans 2)_

 *

*Scripture for Today:* Romans 2:5-7 KJV

>[5] But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; [6] Who will render to every man according to his deeds: [7] to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Yesterday, we talked about the power of the gospel. ROMANS 2 talks about how we become hypocrite when we refuses to judge our self and we condemn others.

In this kingdom, we are expected to always check if we are still standing right with God at all times because we live in a sinful world. As the righteousness of God is for all so is his judgement, we are meant to live by God's word and let other emulate us and not condemning and Judging the unrighteous, else we sin against God.

Our God is faithful and will judge us according to our deeds for our God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11)

We were also made to understand that our listening to the word alone doesn't guarantee our righteousness but our obedience to his law

The emphasis and reestablishment of the gospel is that the law is in our hearts, not just by our knowing or listening but by our action.

_2 Corinthian 3:3_ makes us to understand that we are the living letter of christ, not with ink but by the spirit of God

*What type of christian are you?*

*A Christian by mouth or by your living in the word of God*

*Are you a Christian of the letter or of the spirit?*

You might claim to say you believe, judging unbelievers but what difference does it make if we behave like the unbelievers

A true believer is one whose heart is right with God. Whatever is in your heart determine what you say, do and live (matt 12:34)

 *Prayer*

Lord, set my heart aright with you

Lord, help me to be a Christian that lives by your word, a doer and not only the hearer of your word

In Jesus name

Amen
